Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University Holds Consultative Meeting with Parents on Students' Academic and Moral Development

The management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, held a consultative meeting with parents on February 27, 2025, to discuss their children's academic and moral development.

During the meeting, parents commended the university for its dedication to shaping students' academic and moral character. However, they also raised concerns regarding the scholarship programme, expressing disappointment that their children had not been able to secure the opportunity.

Responding to their concerns, Prof. Garba, on behalf of the university management, expressed gratitude for the parents' trust and support. He reassured them of KHAIRUN’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and character-building initiatives. He further clarified that the scholarship programme is managed by an independent foundation, assuring parents that their children would be considered in the next enrollment cycle.

As part of efforts to strengthen collaboration, the meeting concluded with the establishment of a Management-Parents’ Consultative Forum, consisting of representatives from both parents and the university management.
