Lagos State University Observes Isese Day Holiday

The Lagos State University has announced that it will observe Wednesday, August 20, 2025, as a work-free day in compliance with the Lagos State Government's declaration of the day as a public holiday to commemorate Isese Day.

All staff, both teaching and non-teaching, will observe the holiday, and there will be no examinations on this day. The university will resume work on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. prompt.

The 2024/2025 second semester examination, initially scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, 2025, has been rescheduled to take place on Monday, September 15, 2025.
