Effective Date
- Full implementation begins Saturday, 1 February 2026
- All new internal memoranda must be processed exclusively via the LASU Electronic Memorandum System (LASU-eMS)
Transition Period
- 1 February – 14 February 2026: Approved strictly for clearing paper-based memoranda already in circulation
- From 15 February 2026: Paper-based memoranda will no longer be accepted or processed
Mandatory Platform
- LASU-eMS is designated as the sole official internal memorandum processing platform of the University
- All staff are required to comply fully with this directive
Training and Preparedness
- User training for all stakeholders is scheduled throughout January 2026
- Training is aimed at ensuring operational readiness ahead of the go-live date
- Continuous technical support will be provided by the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT)
