LASU Issues a Reminder on Final Online Mop-Up Examinations for External System Students with Outstanding Results

Lagos State University (LASU) has issued a reminder on final online mop-up examination exercise for External System students with outstanding results awaiting Senate approval for graduation.

The exercise, approved by the university, is intended to provide affected students with a final opportunity to regularise their academic records and meet all outstanding graduation requirements.

According to the LASU Ad-Hoc Committee on External System Students Awaiting Senate Approval on Their Results for Graduation, the online examination exercise began on June 5, 2026, and will run for four weeks.

The committee urged all eligible students to visit the university's website and carefully follow the prescribed registration procedures, guidelines, and examination requirements within the stipulated timeframe.

LASU emphasized that students are expected to complete all necessary processes before the deadline, warning that failure to comply with the approved procedures and timelines could affect eligibility to participate in the exercise.

The university advised all affected students to take advantage of the opportunity to resolve pending academic issues and satisfy graduation requirements before the exercise closes.

The mop-up examination is expected to help clear outstanding result-related cases and facilitate the graduation process for eligible External System students.
