LASU Releases Approved Academic Calendar for 2025/2026 Session
The Lagos State University (LASU) has released its officially approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session, following executive approval granted by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, based on recommendations from the Committee of Provost, Deans, and Directors (COPDD) on September 11, 2025.

The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially released its approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, following the endorsement of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.
The approval came after recommendations from the Committee of Provost, Deans, and Directors (COPDD) during its meeting held on September 11, 2025. The new calendar outlines key academic activities for both the First and Second Semesters, including registration, lectures, breaks, and examinations.
First Semester (2025/2026 Academic Session)
The first semester will span 24 weeks for new students and 21 weeks for returning students, running as follows:

Monday, September 15 – Friday, October 3, 2025 (3 weeks) -
Resumption and Commencement of Lectures (for all students):
Monday, October 6 – Friday, December 19, 2025 (11 weeks)
(Registration for returning students continues during this period.) -
End-of-Year Break:
Monday, December 22, 2025 – Friday, January 2, 2026 (2 weeks) -
Revision and Late Registration:
Monday, January 5 – Friday, January 9, 2026 (1 week)
(Late registration attracts a penalty fee of ₦5,000.) -
Examinations:
Monday, January 12 – Friday, February 6, 2026 (4 weeks) -
Results Processing and Approval:
