The Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the countdown to the 8th LASU Research and Innovation Fair, scheduled to hold from Tuesday, September 8 to Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.

The Lagos State University (LASU) has commenced the countdown to the 8th LASU Research and Innovation Fair, scheduled to hold from Tuesday, September 8 to Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.

With 14 days to the event, this year’s fair will focus on the theme, “Accelerating National Development through Artificial Intelligence-Driven Research and Innovation.”

The annual Research and Innovation Fair provides a platform for researchers, academics, innovators, students and other stakeholders to showcase research findings, present emerging innovations, exchange knowledge and explore solutions to societal challenges.

This year’s edition will examine the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform research and innovation and contribute to sustainable national development.

The University said the event would feature groundbreaking research, emerging innovations and discussions aimed at connecting ideas and expertise capable of shaping Nigeria’s future.

Registration for the fair is ongoing, although late registration has commenced and participants are required to pay the applicable late registration fee.
