LASU Vice-Chancellor, Registrar Congratulate Mr. Adewunmi Olori on Appointment as Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University
The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and the University Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel A. Fanu, MANUPA, FCAI, have congratulated Mr. Adewunmi Samuel Olori on his appointment as the Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, Jalingo, Taraba State — the first private university in the state.
Mr. Olori, until his new appointment, served as Deputy Registrar/Administrative Secretary, Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Programme Office, LASU. He joined the University in 2009 as Administrative Officer II and rose steadily through the ranks.
Over the years, he served in several strategic Registry Divisions and Units including the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Academic Staff Establishments Division, Non-Academic Staff Establishments Division, Postgraduate School, Legal Affairs Division, School of Transport and Logistics, Registrar’s Office, and the Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics.
He also distinguished himself on more than twenty-five University committees, serving meritoriously as Member/Secretary.

The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar noted that Mr. Olori’s appointment reflects the calibre of administrators produced by LASU and underscores the institution’s continued impact on the Nigerian higher education landscape.
On behalf of the entire University community, they celebrated the milestone and wished Mr. Olori a successful and rewarding tenure as he contributes to laying a solid administrative foundation for the growth and development of Greenland University.
Mr. Olori joins the growing list of LASU administrative staff recently appointed to leadership positions across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
