The Directorate of Teaching Practice, Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), is set to host the 2nd Teaching Practice Summit 2026, with a focus on strengthening partnerships for quality teacher education in Lagos State.

The Directorate of Teaching Practice, Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), is set to host the 2nd Teaching Practice Summit 2026, with a focus on strengthening partnerships for quality teacher education in Lagos State.

The summit is themed “Repositioning Teaching Practice Excellence: Strengthening Partnership for Quality Teacher Education in Lagos State.”

The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, Oto/Ijanikin Main Campus.

The Chief Host of the summit is the Vice-Chancellor of LASUED, Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, while the Director of the Directorate of Teaching Practice, LASUED, Dr. Akinkuotu Foluke Abimbola, will serve as the Host.

The Guest Speaker is the Chairman of the Teaching Service Commission, Mrs. Perigrino Victoria Mopelola.

The summit will also feature the following Discussants:
