Man O' War Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Leads Anti-Cultism Awareness Campaign
The Man O' War Nigeria, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, led by Patriot Gen. Favour Somtochukwu Okoli, held an anti-cultism awareness program tagged "Say No to Cultism" on February 12, 2025. The event educated students on the dangers of cultism and emphasized the importance of a peaceful campus environment.
The Man O' War Nigeria, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, Focus Command 2024/2025 Patrimony Regime, under the leadership of Patriot Gen. Favour Somtochukwu Okoli, organized an awareness program tagged "Say No to Cultism" on February 12, 2025.

The event aimed to educate students on the dangers of cultism and the importance of maintaining a safe and peaceful learning environment on campus. Cadets from the Man O' War unit led discussions on the risks associated with cult groups and encouraged students to reject any form of involvement in such activities.
Other paramilitary groups on campus, including ICCON, BB, STCC, Red Cross, and CHESC, actively participated in the event, reinforcing a collective stance against cultism. Their presence reassured the polytechnic community of a united effort to curb campus-related violence and insecurity.
The awareness program aligns with the institution’s commitment to promoting discipline and security among students. The leadership of Man O' War emphasized that their goal is to work closely with the school management to ensure a conducive learning environment, free from the threats of cult activities.
Students and staff who attended the event commended the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will contribute to a safer and more harmonious academic atmosphere at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic.
