MAU Management Addresses 2026 NYSC Mobilization Discrepancies, Confirms Fraudulent Circular
The Students Affairs Division of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has issued an official statement to clarify discrepancies surrounding the 2026 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization exercise.
The internal memo, signed by A. A. Musa on behalf of the Dean of Student Affairs, addresses system errors, delays in call-up letters, and refutes a fraudulent circular circulating among graduates.Mobilization Metrics and System Inconsistencies.
Following direct verification with authorized NYSC officials, MAU confirmed that the document is completely fake and was mischievously calculated to instigate panic among candidates.

National Delay of Call-Up LettersAddressing growing student anxiety, the university clarified that the delay in releasing call-up letters to Prospective Corp Members (PCMs) is a national bottleneck rather than an isolated institutional issue.Following high-level consultations with NYSC administrators and sister tertiary institutions, MAU noted that the corps is currently overstretched due to an unprecedented surge in PCMs resulting from an increase in the number of Corps Producing Institutions nationwide.
The university management urged all affected candidates to remain calm and exercise patience while awaiting their official deployment letters, reiterating its availability to guide graduates through any transit challenges.
