Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU) has been shortlisted to participate in the prestigious Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (i-DICE) Programme.

This recognition by the National Universities Commission (NUC) marks a significant step forward in enhancing digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative skills within Nigeria’s higher education landscape.

The i-DICE initiative, supported by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Bank of Industry (BOI), collaborates with prominent international and local institutions including the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD). This national programme aims to stimulate job creation, equip young Nigerians with 21st-century skills, and position Nigeria competitively in the global digital and creative economies.

According to Professor Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, Executive Secretary of the NUC, the shortlisting reflects MCIU’s demonstrated capacity and readiness to significantly contribute to this transformative initiative.
