Modibbo Adama University Inaugurates New Board and Management for MAU Microfinance Bank

The Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, has officially inaugurated the newly appointed Board and Management team of the MAU Microfinance Bank.

This move follows the dissolution of the former leadership to safeguard the University’s financial interests and ensure the bank's long-term sustainability.

The newly appointed Chairman of the Board, Professor Aliyu Bawuro, pledged that the Board will work diligently to restore the bank’s viability for the benefit of both the University community and the public. He emphasized the need for strict adherence to the regulatory framework governing microfinance operations in Nigeria
