Nasarawa State University, Keffi Partners with ACReSAL to Enhance Research and Development

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has embarked on a strategic partnership with the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) multi-sectoral project to advance the university's development and reinforce its status as a leading center of academic excellence.

The partnership aims to establish a research center within the university, provide ICT equipment, construct a borehole, and install solar power systems. ACReSAL will also work with financial institutions to facilitate access to student loans and establish emergency response strategies for natural disasters.

Additionally, the partnership will promote agro-forestry and food security initiatives within the university and its host community. The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has formed a committee to develop actionable recommendations for the collaboration.
