Modibbo Adama University Launches Fourth Edition of Vice-Chancellor's Cup

The fourth edition of the Vice-Chancellor's Cup has commenced at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, with an opening ceremony graced by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Iliyasu Audu.

The tournament is specially tagged the "Peace and Unity Tournament," reflecting the university's commitment to fostering harmony and camaraderie among students through sports.

The event drew enthusiastic support from students, staff, and sports lovers across campus, with dignitaries such as the Registrar, Alh. Mustafa Migawa, the Chief Security Officer, and the Chairman of the University Sports Committee, Professor Jaafaru Ali, in attendance.

In his address, Professor Audu encouraged students to participate safely, emphasizing that the tournament is a platform for fun, unity, and mutual respect. Professor Ali, the Sports Committee Chairman, urged participants to view sports as a powerful tool for unity and peace in society.
