MOUAU Begins 2023/2024 Direct Entry Admissions; See Requirements

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), has announced the commencement of its 2023/2024 direct entry admissions.

Myschoolnews gathered that direct entry admissions into the programmes of the university is based on a combination of relevant O’Level results and the possession of at least two A-Level passes, or NCE, OND OR HND in the following areas of study: Agricultural Science, Science Education, Geography, Forestry, Fisheries, Building Technology, Environmental Health, Surveying, Architecture, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning, etc.

The duration of programmes are as follows:

A minimum of six (6) years for candidates with

Ordinary Level Certificate

OND/ND at Lower Credit level

NCE at Merit/Credit levels

A minimum of five (5) years for candidates with

OND/ND at Upper Credit level

NCE at Distinction level

HND at Lower Credit Level

A minimum of four (4) years for candidates with HND at Upper Credit level.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms can be obtained online or at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike portal, on payment of non-refundable fee of Five Thousand, five hundred Naira (N5,500) through remitter into the TSA account after generation of RRR. Candidates should bring their evidence of payment to the CEC office for issuance of receipt and collection of application forms.

CLOSING DATE

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms for the 2023/2024 academic Session is 10 weeks

from the date of this publication.
