Nasarawa State University Faculty of Administration Wins VC Annual Football Cup Competition

The Faculty of Administration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has emerged as the champion of the 19th edition of the Vice-Chancellor's Annual Football Cup Competition.

The team defeated the Faculty of Social Sciences in a thrilling final match that went into penalty shootouts.

The tournament, which featured teams from various faculties, showcased athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Faculty of Arts secured third place, while the Faculty of Engineering was recognized as the Most Disciplined Team.

Individual awards were also presented, with Wisdom Onya from the Faculty of Administration claiming the Highest Goal Scorer medal, and Hayatudeen Elayo winning the Best Goalkeeper award. Markus Caleb of the Faculty of Social Sciences was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.

The Vice-Chancellor's representative, Professor Abdullahi Sallau Modibbo, presented the prizes and accolades, congratulating the winners and participants on their outstanding performance. The event was attended by Deans, Heads of Departments, and other members of the university community.
