Nnamdi Azikiwe University Vice-Chancellor Hosts Confucius Institute Delegation
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received a delegation from the Confucius Institute, NAU, in his office on 21st November 2025.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received a delegation from the Confucius Institute, NAU, in his office on 21st November 2025.
The visit, led by Professor Yu Zhangbao, Director of the Confucius Institute, focused on strengthening the existing partnership between the Institute and the University. Professor Zhangbao congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his recent appointment and highlighted the importance of deepening collaboration.
In response, Professor Anyaehie welcomed the delegation and emphasized the significance of enhancing institutional cooperation. He pledged to foster the exchange of cultural values, languages, and norms, and to expand collaboration through online programs and the development of world-class hostels and accommodations to attract foreign students to NAU.
Other members of the delegation included Dr Anas Elochukwu, Deputy Director; Dr Xu Wei; Ms Qin Fangfang; Ms Chen Mei; Ms Rui Wangxiao; Ms Zhang Le; Ms Deng Jun; and Ms Liu Xiang.
