Northwest University Opens Registration for Second Semester 2024/2025 Summer Programme

Northwest University, Kano, has announced the commencement of registration for its Second Semester 2024/2025 Summer Programme.

According to an official circular dated August 23, 2026, registration for the programme will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, and close on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

The university stated that the programme is open to the following categories of students:

• Students currently on probation
• Students who were previously on probation
• Final-year students
• Spillover students

However, eligibility is limited to students who registered for and failed courses during the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 academic session.

The university clarified that students with ABS, students who dropped the courses, or students with ICG in the affected courses are not eligible to participate in the programme.

Each eligible student is allowed to register for a maximum of five courses.

The registration fees are as follows:

• Central registration fee: ₦20,000
• Per course: ₦5,000

The university also stated that all payments made for the programme are non-refundable.

The institution has advised all eligible students to complete their registration within the stipulated period and adhere strictly to the stated guidelines.
