NSUK Commiserates with Associate Professor Abdullahi Mohammed over Son's Demise
The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has expressed its heartfelt condolences to Associate Professor Abdullahi Mohammed (Amola) of the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Administration, following the passing of his beloved son, Abdulrahman.
A delegation of the University management, led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Halima Aliyu Doma-Kutigi, on Tuesday, 14th July 2026, paid a condolence visit to Associate Professor Mohammed to sympathize with him and his family over the painful loss.
Speaking during the visit, Professor Doma-Kutigi conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, the University management, Senate, staff, and the entire NSUK community. She described the death of a child as a profound loss and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus while giving the bereaved family the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. She assured him that the University shares in his grief and stands firmly with him and his family during this period of mourning.
Responding on behalf of the family, Associate Professor Abdullahi Mohammed expressed appreciation to the University management for the thoughtful visit and prayers. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor, the management team, and members of the University community for their compassion, support, and solidarity, praying that Allah rewards them abundantly.
