The National Universities Commission (NUC) has carried out a resource verification exercise at McPherson University as part of the accreditation process for four newly proposed postgraduate programmes.

The exercise covered the following programmes: Business Administration (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.), Mass Communication (PGD, M.Sc., Ph.D.), History & International Studies (M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.), and Microbiology (PGD, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.).

During the assessment visit, the accreditation teams commended the university for its serene learning environment, adequate facilities, and qualified academic staff across the evaluated programmes. The teams noted that the institution demonstrated strong readiness for postgraduate training and research expansion.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Igbasan, expressed appreciation to the NUC teams for their professional conduct and detailed evaluation process. He assured that the university would promptly address all identified areas requiring improvement in line with regulatory standards.
