NYSC Member Goes Viral After Alleged N1M Gift from Senate President

A Nigerian youth corps member, known on social media as @priceless_racheal, has become an online sensation after sharing a video in which she claims to have received a ₦1 million cash gift from the Senate President of Nigeria. 

In the trending video, the young lady—fully dressed in her official NYSC uniform—is seen flaunting bundles of naira notes, visibly excited about what she describes as a surprise encounter with the country’s top lawmaker. 

The clip is accompanied by the caption: 

“Nothing to my shoulder. I just saw the Senate President of Nigeria and he gave us one million naira.” 

The video quickly gained traction on platforms like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), attracting thousands of views and sparking debate among users. 

While some applauded the supposed generosity of the Senate President, others questioned the authenticity and appropriateness of publicizing such a gift. 

Critics pointed out the political implications of the gesture, suggesting it may be a calculated move to win public favor ahead of future elections.

As of now, no official confirmation or denial has been issued by the office of the Senate President regarding the alleged cash gift.
