OGITECH Honours Rector Oluseye with Surprise Celebration of Achievement

The Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, was filled with joy on Monday, 1st September 2025, as staff, students, and dignitaries gathered to honour the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, on his two-year anniversary in office.

The surprise celebration, held at the Rector’s office in the New Administrative Building, left Dr. Oluseye visibly moved as he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the gesture and reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the Institute’s growth and development.

The event featured prayers and goodwill messages, with the Chief Imam of Igbesaland, Fadeelat Sheikh Muh’d Saheed Muh’d Awaal, and the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Adewale Ajose, leading special prayers for the Rector and his family. They commended his leadership, describing him as a man devoted to education and service to humanity.

Also in attendance was the Rector’s wife, Mrs. Adewunmi Oluseye, who appreciated the community’s show of love and assured them of her husband’s continued dedication to advancing the Institute.

The Registrar, Mrs. Sakirat Olajumoke Johnson, led the Management team in congratulating Dr. Oluseye, highlighting the visible transformation recorded at OGITECH within the past two years under his visionary and people-centred leadership. For many staff and students, the celebration was more than a recognition of tenure; it was a reaffirmation of their trust in Dr. Oluseye’s leadership and a testimony to the progress made at the Institute.

The community expressed optimism for more milestones as he continues to steer OGITECH with dedication, innovation, and passion for educational excellence.
