Peter University Partners with Federal Ministry to Advance Youth Empowerment Initiative
In a significant display of commitment to youth empowerment, the Vice-Chancellor, Peter University Prof. Chukwuemenam Emmanuel Umezinwa, alongside principal officers and other institutional heads, attended the Youth Economic Intervention and Deradicalization Programme (YEIDEP) meeting held at Zephaniah Auditorium, Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
YEIDEP, a programme under the Federal Ministry of Youth Development is focused on creating jobs through entrepreneurship and empowering Nigerian youths. With its already existing Skill Acquisition Programme, Peter University is well-positioned to key into this initiative, and the Vice-Chancellor reaffirmed the University's readiness to participate fully.

Peter University also appreciates the Federal Ministry of Youth Development for this opportunity and its commitment to youth empowerment.
The event graced the presence of other Heads of Institutions, including a representative of the Vice-Chancellor of the Host Institution and the DVC (Administration), UNIZIK, Prof. Hilda Osisioma and the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Okeke.
