Professor Kamal Babikir has emerged as one of the most respected and influential academics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, UDUS, where he currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies.  

Renowned for his unwavering commitment to discipline, academic excellence, and integrity, Professor Babikir has earned a lasting reputation among generations of students and alumni across Northern Nigeria. In addition to his administrative role, he remains a distinguished scholar in the Department of Arabic.  

Beyond the classroom, Professor Babikir has made significant scholarly contributions. He authored the widely used "KAMUSUN LARABCI–HAUSA", an Arabic-to-Hausa dictionary published by the university, which has become an important resource for students and researchers.
