Professor Mohammed Suleiman Audu has been officially appointed as the Chairman of the Governing Council of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba. The appointment recognizes his distinguished academic trajectory and extensive leadership within the Nigerian university system.
A scion of the Atta ruling dynasty of Ebiraland, Professor Audu brings over two decades of administrative and pedagogical expertise to the institution.
Professor Audu holds a Doctorate in Philosophy with specialisations in History, International Relations, and Peace and Conflict Studies. His academic journey spans prestigious institutions including Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto; Bayero University, Kano; and Benue State University, Makurdi.
To align his leadership with global standards, he completed advanced professional development at Harvard University Extension School and the Galilee International Management Institute in Israel.
An accomplished researcher, Professor Audu has published over 60 scholarly articles and authored several textbooks, including War and Peace in the 20th Century, published in Germany. In 2019, he led the African delegation to Virginia State University, USA, delivering a keynote address on Modernization and Globalization.
His appointment is viewed as a strategic move to leverage his international exposure—spanning engagements in the UK, USA, Germany, and Israel—to further elevate the academic standing and administrative efficiency of Prince Abubakar Audu University.
