Thomas Adewumi University Hosts Kwara Teachers Colloquium, Champions Educational Transformation

Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) recently served as the host for the grand finale of the Global Teachers Assembly Kwara Colloquium and Award Ceremony.

The event brought together a distinguished assembly of educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to deliberate on the future of teaching under the theme, "Empowered Educators: Innovation, Equity, and Lifelong Impact."

The colloquium featured high-level discussions centered on the evolving landscape of modern education. Key agenda items included the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom, the critical importance of teacher welfare, and the development of sustainable learning systems.

In her address, the Vice-Chancellor of TAU, Prof. Francisca O. Oladipo, reinforced the university's commitment to driving systemic change. "At TAU, we don’t just host conversations—we drive transformation," she stated, emphasizing that teachers remains the bedrock of any thriving society.

Prof. Temitope Odetoye, the Distinguished Keynote Speaker, provided deep insights into the necessity of empowering educators to ensure long-term societal growth.
