On June 20, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) hosted a significant symposium that culminated in a courtesy visit to the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, by several distinguished guests. Among the notable attendees were the renowned Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje; HRM Igwe G. O. Ekwealor, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam; Hon. During the introduction of the guests to the Acting Vice Chancellor, Faculty Staff Adviser Mr. Collins Okelue highlighted the symposium's success, noting the awarding of scholarships to several students and the honoring of the faculty's patriarchs and icons. He emphasized the guests' potential contributions to the university's sustainable development under Prof. Omenugha's leadership.
