Prophet Odumeje Pays Courtesy Visit to Ojukwu University Vice Chancellor
Prophet Odumeje, along with other distinguished guests, visited COOU's Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, following a successful Faculty of Social Sciences symposium.

On June 20, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) hosted a significant symposium that culminated in a courtesy visit to the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha, by several distinguished guests. Among the notable attendees were the renowned Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje; HRM Igwe G. O. Ekwealor, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam; Hon. Dr. Dubem Oguegbu, the National President of the Alumni Association; and Guastavo Cubanna.
During the introduction of the guests to the Acting Vice Chancellor, Faculty Staff Adviser Mr. Collins Okelue highlighted the symposium's success, noting the awarding of scholarships to several students and the honoring of the faculty's patriarchs and icons. He emphasized the guests' potential contributions to the university's sustainable development under Prof. Omenugha's leadership. Mr. Okelue pointed out that inviting Prophet Odumeje was a deliberate and strategic decision aimed at enhancing the university's profile.
Expressing his gratitude, Prophet Odumeje reflected on his previous visit to the institution and the notable improvements he observed. He attributed these positive changes to the leadership of Prof. Omenugha and aligned himself with many Nigerians who celebrate her achievements. Prophet Odumeje praised the appointment of a female Vice Chancellor, underscoring that women are particularly adept at nurturing and leading, as evidenced by Prof. Omenugha's impressive progress.
