SAZU Builds Staff Capacity in Digital Skills and ICT

Participants are currently taking part in a 3-day intensive training on Filmora Video Editing Software at the Gadau Main Campus of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi.

The training is organised by the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Sa’adu Zungur University, in collaboration with Prime Space Resources, with the full support of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

The programme is designed to equip ICT Staff and staff of the Information and Public Relations Unit with relevant and contemporary video editing skills, enabling them to effectively utilise audio-visual content for communication, documentation, information dissemination and institutional publicity.

In a related development, a 4-day training programme is also being held at the Yuli Campus, focusing on Computer Network Management and Maintenance, WordPress Website Creation and Maintenance.

These capacity-building programmes represent another significant dimension of Sa’adu Zungur University's commitment to continuous staff development, digital transformation and improved service delivery. They are aimed at ensuring that staff remain abreast of emerging technologies and operate in line with global best practices in computing and digital communication.
