SKYSFOM Commends Environment Minister Over Scholarship Grant to Southern Kaduna Students

The Southern Kaduna Youths and Students Forum (SKYSFOM) has commended the Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, for awarding scholarship grants to students from Southern Kaduna.

In a statement issued on Monday, January 26, 2026, and signed by its National Public Relations Officer I, Comrade Bulus Isaac Gado, the forum described the initiative as a demonstration of inclusive leadership and commitment to educational development.

According to SKYSFOM, the scholarship scheme benefitted students across all eight local government areas of Southern Kaduna, ensuring equal representation and access. 

The group noted that the gesture reflects fairness and an understanding of the importance of education in national development.

The forum said the intervention has brought renewed hope to many students by easing financial burdens and enabling them to pursue their academic goals with greater confidence. 

It added that the impact of the scholarship would extend beyond the beneficiaries, contributing to family stability and the overall development of Southern Kaduna.

SKYSFOM expressed appreciation to the minister for what it described as a noble and selfless act, offering prayers for divine guidance, good health, and continued success in his service to the nation.

The group reaffirmed its gratitude to Mallam Lawal for supporting Southern Kaduna students and investing in the future of the region’s youth.
