The School of Preliminary and Continuing Education (SPACE) at Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, has officially commenced the sale of application forms for its Part-Time Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The part-time degree structure accommodates various entry levels, with program durations mapped out systematically based on academic qualifications. Candidates admitted at the 100-level require a minimum of five relevant O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings, and will spend a minimum of five academic sessions. For the 200-level Direct Entry (DE), the track is open to candidates holding NCE, IJMBE, or Diploma qualifications alongside the requisite O'Level credits, spanning a minimum of four academic sessions. The 400-level Top-Up track is designed specifically for holders of an HND (Credit) or B.Sc. (Third Class) looking to upgrade their qualifications, requiring a minimum duration of two academic sessions.
Prospective students can apply for Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), or specialized education degrees across four distinct academic departments. The Department of Education offers B.A. (Ed.) and B.Sc. (Ed.) variants in Arabic, English, Hausa, Islamic Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics, alongside a Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS). The Department of Humanities offers B.A. degrees in Arabic, English, Hausa, History, and Islamic Studies.
