He made the reaffirmation during a courtesy visit by the Global President of the TASFUED Alumni Association, Mr. Bolaji Julius Oladeji, and the Immediate Past President, Dr. Abdullahi Abiodun Oyekanmi, at the Vice-Chancellor’s office.
The engagement, initiated by the Vice-Chancellor, focused on consolidating strategic collaboration between the university management and the alumni body in line with the institution’s development agenda.
Prof. Oladipo described the alumni network as a critical stakeholder in the university ecosystem and a key benchmark for evaluating institutional quality, reputation, and long-term impact.
He noted that alumni remain one of the strongest global indicators of a university’s performance, stressing that their professional achievements, networks, and contributions significantly shape institutional visibility and development outcomes.

During the meeting, the Alumni leadership briefed the Vice-Chancellor on ongoing initiatives, achievements of the association, and contributions of TASFUED graduates across various sectors globally. They also highlighted collaborative efforts within the university community aimed at supporting institutional advancement.
Reaffirming his administration’s position, Prof. Oladipo assured the alumni association of sustained institutional support, emphasizing that the university remains open to innovative ideas, partnerships, and joint initiatives capable of accelerating development across academic and infrastructural fronts.
He further stated that TASFUED is committed to building an inclusive and forward-looking relationship with all alumni stakeholders, aligned with its vision of excellence in teacher education, research advancement, and human capital development.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed optimism that a strengthened partnership between the university and its alumni network would further position TASFUED as a globally competitive institution with a strong culture of impact and innovation.
