TETFund North-central Director Pledges Support for Completion of Projects at FULafia

The Director representing the North-central Zone in the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund, Dr Hassan Abdulrahman, has pledged to partner with the Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, to ensure timely completion of TETFund sponsored projects in the institution.

Abdulrahman made the pledge during a recent working visit to the University where he inspected TETFund projects.

Speaking at a meeting held at the Old Senate Chamber of the University Permanent Site Campus, before the commencement of his inspection, the director commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support for the education sector.

He urged Nigerians to support Tinubu’s second-term ambition, saying his re-election would enable him to consolidate ongoing reforms in the education sector.

Responding, the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Prof Mohammed Isa Kida, appreciated the TETFund director, the North-central Zonal Coordinator of the body and other members of the team for visiting the University.

Kida said that many of the projects visible at the Permanent Site Campus were sponsored by TETFund, and prayed that more projects would be sited at the institution.

He expressed appreciation for TETFund’s support, describing the body as a critical stakeholder of the University.
