The University College Hospital (UCH) Crèche held its annual End-of-Year Party on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, marking the close of the year with a colorful celebration for children, parents, and staff.

The event served as both a festive gathering and a platform to acknowledge the impact of the facility on staff productivity and welfare.

In her welcome address, the Acting Head of the Special Duties Unit, Dr. Tawakalit Salam, extended her gratitude to the UCH Management, led by Chief Medical Director Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo. Dr. Salam highlighted that the crèche has been instrumental in supporting staff during their reproductive years, providing a "safe and nurturing environment" that allows healthcare professionals to focus on their clinical and administrative duties with peace of mind.

Representing the Chief Medical Director, the Deputy Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee (Clinics), Professor Olusola Olawoye, reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to staff well-being. She emphasized that the crèche remains a vital component of the CMD’s "staff welfare and patients’ comfort" mantra, promising continued and unwavering support for the facility.
