The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has warned prospective students and members of the general public against fake admission messages currently circulating on social media and messaging platforms.

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has warned prospective students and members of the general public against fake admission messages currently circulating on social media and messaging platforms.

According to the University, the fraudulent messages request candidates to provide personal details or follow certain instructions to “accept” admission.

The institution clarified that no admission list has been released at this time and stated that it is not connected with the phone numbers, individuals or instructions contained in the circulating messages.

Candidates have therefore been advised not to respond to such messages, make payments or disclose their personal information to anyone claiming to offer admission outside the University’s authorised admission process.

The University emphasised that admission into the University of Abuja is not for sale and urged candidates to rely only on its official communication channels for authentic admission updates.
