The event, held at the 1,000-capacity hall on the main campus, attracted a large crowd of staff and students eager to witness the brilliant performances.
The students, filled with joy, entertained the audience with energetic and captivating acts, earning praise as Nigeria’s future potential artists.
Dr. Charles Agha, the Head of the Department, expressed his excitement in welcoming the new inductees to the vibrant community of artists. He encouraged them to explore their creative potential and pursue excellence in their academic journey, emphasizing the importance of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
Dr. Agha also highlighted the department’s unity, love, and vision, all aimed at shaping skilled actors.
Dr. Caroline Ohen, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, congratulated the inductees and urged them to stay focused, making significant contributions to the performing arts scene both in Nigeria and internationally.
The event featured stand-up comedy, music, spoken word, dance, and solo performances. Dr. Chijioke Iyamah, Chairman of the induction committee, thanked the University Management for their support, which contributed to the success of the annual event.
