UNILAG Commences Online Registration for 2025/2026 Direct Entry Freshmen
The University of Lagos has announced that online registration for Direct Entry (DE) admission into all undergraduate programmes and courses for the 2025/2026 Academic Year will hold from Monday, September 22, to Friday, October 3, 2025.

According to the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Mrs. V. Abosede Wickliffe, candidates are expected to follow the approved procedure and meet the eligibility criteria to be considered for admission.
Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates should log in to the University website via https://unilag.edu.ng and take the following steps:
- Click on 2025/2026 Direct Entry (DE) Application on the welcome pop up on the homepage
- Log in with Direct Entry (DE) Application number as username and surname in lowercase as password
- Generate and print payment advice
- Proceed to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online
- Return to the University portal to complete the screening form
- Click on Continue Application to complete the screening form
- Upload relevant results (First Degree, HND, OND, SDA, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, NCE, NFLV DIP, MUSON DIP, ABRSM, Trinity College London, Baccalaureate, DELF/DALF, O’level)
- Click on Preview to verify the correctness of supplied data
- Click on Submit
- Print Direct Entry e-registration slip
- Proceed to Admission Office (1st Floor, Room 174, Senate Building) and submit the printed Direct Entry e-registration slip and credentials between Monday, September 22, and Friday, October 3, 2025

The application fee is ₦3,500.
Eligible Candidates
Only candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2025/2026 Direct Entry JAMB application are eligible to register. Applicants must also possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by Tuesday, September 30, 2025, are not eligible and need not apply. Personal details such as name, date of birth, state of origin, and LGA must remain consistent across all documents and results.
Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status may re-apply, provided the new admission is for a programme different from the former one. However, students expelled from the University cannot be re-admitted under any circumstance.
Candidates who fail to participate in the online registration will not be considered for admission.

The University has also reiterated its zero tolerance for drug abuse, warning that the admission of newly admitted students who test positive for drug use will be withdrawn whenever the test is conducted, either before or after registration.
