The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has held a special commendation ceremony to honour the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics and Research), Professor Bola Oboh, as she officially concludes her impactful tenure in office.

The event, attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, and other principal officers, served as a platform to reflect on the significant strides made in the university's academic and research landscape under Professor Oboh’s leadership.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Professor Ogunsola described Prof. Oboh as a "diligent and visionary leader" whose commitment to excellence has left an indelible mark on the institution. "Her tenure has been defined by a passion for mentorship and a relentless pursuit of academic integrity," the VC noted.

In her response, Professor Oboh expressed her gratitude to the university community for the opportunity to serve, attributing the successes of her office to the collective efforts of the academic and administrative staff.
