UNIMAID Primary School Alumni Transform Classrooms with Generous Educational and Sanitary Donations

The old students of University Primary School, University of Maiduguri, on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, donated various educational and sanitary materials to the school during a presentation ceremony held at the school premises.

In his opening remarks, the Headmaster, Saleh Ahmed, warmly welcomed the former students and appreciated them for their visit, generosity, and continued support to the school community.

Representing the Chairman of the Primary School Management Board, Professor Babagana Bako, Alhaji Kyari Dibbo commended the efforts of the alumni and called on other former students to emulate the laudable gesture. He also participated in the presentation of the donated items.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Abubakar Sadiq Abana of the 1993 set, alongside other members, presented five whiteboards, five markers, five board cleaners, two cartons of detergent, two cartons of hypo, a carton of insecticide, as well as appreciation tokens to some teachers of the school.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Agada Iteji Gerard described the donation as a commendable act of giving back to the community and encouraged the ex-students to sustain their support for the growth and development of the school.
