The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has directed an immediate suspension of all social gatherings, religious programmes, and related events on campus in line with the ongoing semester examinations.

In a memorandum issued on March 2, 2026, the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. C.C. Wokocha, informed students that no approvals would be granted for any social or religious activities until the examinations conclude.
