UNIPORT Suspends All Social and Religious Activities Amid Semester Examinations

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has directed an immediate suspension of all social gatherings, religious programmes, and related events on campus in line with the ongoing semester examinations.

In a memorandum issued on March 2, 2026, the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. C.C. Wokocha, informed students that no approvals would be granted for any social or religious activities until the examinations conclude.

The directive, referenced UPH/SA/DEN/040, applies to all shows and religious events and is effective immediately. The University also expressed appreciation to students for their cooperation in maintaining a conducive environment for examinations.

Students are urged to adhere strictly to the directive to ensure academic activities proceed without disruption.
