UNIPORT VC Receives CBN Rivers State Delegation, Pledges Stronger Institutional Collaboration

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Prof. Chike Princewill, on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, received a delegation from the Rivers State Branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on a courtesy visit to the University.

The delegation, led by Prof. Geoffrey Omojefe, congratulated Prof. Princewill on his appointment as the 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University.

The CBN Rivers State delegation pledged its support for the new administration and expressed its readiness to sustain a cordial relationship with the University.

The delegation also indicated its commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Central Bank of Nigeria and the University.
