University of Abuja Management Meets Information Minister to Bolster Media Education and Research

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, and members of the University’s management met the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, in Abuja, as part of ongoing engagements to strengthen collaboration between government and academia.

The meeting focused on advancing teaching, research and professional training in media and communication, with particular emphasis on capacity building and industry engagement.

The Minister expressed his determination to support collaborative efforts that would enhance media education and research in line with national development priorities.
