University of Ibadan Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Receives Major Boost from Alumni

The University of Ibadan's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has received a significant benefaction from its alumni, enabling major developments that will enhance the teaching and learning environment.

The Dean of the Faculty, Professor Olufunke Ola-Davies, expressed gratitude to the anonymous alumni donors, highlighting their continued support throughout her tenure. She emphasized that the facilities will create a conducive atmosphere for both students and faculty.

Professor Kayode Adebowale commended the alumni for their generosity, urging other alumni to emulate their kind gesture. He emphasized the importance of alumni support in sustaining federal institutions, citing the inadequacy of government funding. The Vice-Chancellor noted that Ivy League institutions have successfully leveraged alumni endowments to achieve financial independence and robust academic development.
