University of Maiduguri to Host Inter-College/Faculty Sports Competition

The University of Maiduguri's Office of the Sports Director has announced the 2024/2025 Inter-College/Faculty Sports Competition for students, scheduled to take place from August 4th to 16th, 2025.

The competition will feature a range of sports, including football, table tennis, tennis, judo, badminton, chess, scrabble, athletics, basketball, volleyball, handball, and taekwondo. The events will be held at various venues across the university, including the Sports Complex, Tawafa Balewa, Staff Club, Nuga Hall, and Swimming Pool.

The competition will be divided into two phases, with the first phase taking place from August 4th to 9th, 2025, and the second phase from August 11th to 16th, 2025. The closing ceremony and presentation of certificates and trophies will take place on August 16, 2025.
