University of Maiduguri VC Attends Borno State University 6th Matriculation Ceremony

Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, attended the 6th matriculation ceremony of newly admitted students at Borno State University (BOSU) on April 10, 2025.

He was accompanied by key university officials, including the Registrar, Bursar, and Acting Librarian.

BOSU has experienced significant growth in recent years, with notable achievements including the appointment of a new substantive Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Professor Babagana Gutti, and the establishment of new programs, such as the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree. The university has also invested in infrastructure development, including a new mass communication studio and a female hostel .
