The University of Nigeria, Nsukka has recorded another milestone in its innovation ecosystem as four startups from its Roar Nigeria Hub were selected for the competitive iDICE Startup Bridge Programme following a nationwide selection process involving innovation hubs and startups across the country.

The programme is designed to identify, incubate, and scale high-potential startups capable of delivering innovative solutions, strengthening enterprise capacity, and contributing to economic growth.

The selected startups from Roar Nigeria Hub include FLAMELESS Energy Systems, founded by Ugwuanyi Paschal Izuchukwu; VIBET BIO, founded by Ezeoka K. Chukwuma; Imaxeuno, founded by Chinedu Ifediora David; and Scalable, founded by Ezema Christian Obinna.

The startups will undergo a 15-week intensive incubation programme focused on business growth acceleration, operational strengthening, business model refinement, market readiness, and investment preparedness. Their selection underscores the growing profile of Roar Nigeria Hub as a leading innovation and entrepreneurship centre within the University of Nigeria ecosystem.
