Candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise can now check their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded online, and applicants are advised to follow the steps below to confirm their admission status.
How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB e-facility portal via https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your admission details.
If you have been offered admission, your profile picture will be displayed along with a congratulatory message. Candidates who have not yet received an offer will see the message, “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”

Admitted candidates are required to either Accept or Reject their admission offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. Those who no longer have access to their registered phone number are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.
Candidates are expected to accept their admission within four weeks of the offer. After accepting the offer, they should proceed to print their JAMB Admission Letter, which will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
