This proposed renovation is expected to cover key areas of the facility and bring the stadium up to modern standards, development is also expected to boost sporting activities at UNN and provide students with improved facilities for football, athletics and other sporting events.
The university community is hopeful that the renovation will be completed on schedule and restore the stadium to its former Glory move comes as universities across Nigeria continue to invest in sports infrastructure to promote students' participation in competitive sports and support the development of young athletes.
