UUTH College of Nursing Sciences Opens ND/HND Nursing Admission for 2025/2026 Session
The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, has announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.
Announcing the opening of the admission process, Dr. Joseph J. Akpan, Registrar of the College, invited suitably qualified and interested candidates to apply for what he described as “a golden opportunity to begin a rewarding career in Nursing within one of Nigeria’s foremost health training institutions.”
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Have participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 170.
- Be at least 16 years of age on or before November 30, 2025.
- Possess five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, GCE, SSCE, or NECO examinations.
Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates are to obtain the application form after payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦30,000 at the Bursary Department of the College of Nursing Sciences, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.
At the point of registration, applicants must present:
- Three (3) recent coloured passport photographs.
- Photocopies of all relevant academic credentials.
- A printed JAMB result slip showing the UTME score.
Collection and submission of forms will begin on Monday, November 3, 2025, and close on Friday, November 14, 2025. The College emphasized that late submission will not be accepted.
Post-UTME Screening Exercise
The Post-UTME Screening Examination will hold on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the College Auditorium, UUTH premises, by 9:00 a.m.
Candidates are to bring along:
- Proof of payment for the application form.
- Registration slip.
- JAMB printout as evidence of UTME participation.
The College advised all applicants to arrive early, dress neatly, and note that electronic gadgets or unauthorized materials will not be allowed in the examination hall.
