Yusuf Umar Danshitta has emerged as the newly elected National President of the Kwara State University (KWASU) Alumni Association during an election held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the KWASU Business School.

According to the election report signed by Abdulkadir Olayinka Abdulbaki, Chairman of the 2024 KWASU Alumni Electoral Committee, Danshitta from the Department of Library and Information Science secured 33 votes to clinch the top position.
