Yusuf Umar Danshitta has been elected as the National President of Kwara State University Alumni Association, alongside other executives, in a smooth election held on December 27, 2024, at KWASU Business School.

Yusuf Umar Danshitta has emerged as the newly elected National President of the Kwara State University (KWASU) Alumni Association during an election held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the KWASU Business School.
According to the election report signed by Abdulkadir Olayinka Abdulbaki, Chairman of the 2024 KWASU Alumni Electoral Committee, Danshitta from the Department of Library and Information Science secured 33 votes to clinch the top position.

Samuel Oluwatoyin Taiwo as Vice President South
Abdulwasiu Damilare Alabi as National General Secretary
Tajudeen Olaoluwa Adeleye as Financial Secretary
Jesutofunmi Adewoye as National Treasurer
Abimbola Abdulhameed Babajide as National Social Secretary
Felicity Onize Ifashe and Abdulazeez Abbas Olayinka were also elected as National Legal Adviser and Assistant General Secretary, respectively.
The election process was conducted efficiently, adhering strictly to the established guidelines, and received commendation for its smooth execution.
