Aletheia University Student Crowned ‘Omoge Ewa 2026’ at Inter-Varsity Cultural Pageant

In a major milestone for the institution, Boluwatife Coker, a 300-level Mass Communication student from Aletheia University, has officially received her prize earnings after being crowned Omoge Ewa 2026. 

The cheque presentation took place at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office of Lead City University, Ibadan, the host institution for the highly competitive inter-varsity cultural event. The ceremony brought together top academic administrators and representatives from both institutions to celebrate the student's feat. 

Dignitaries in Attendance: The Vice-Chancellor of Lead City University, Professor Kabiru Adeyemo, alongside principal officers and an official delegation from Aletheia University. 

The Omoge Asa Cultural Pageant serves as a regional platform designed to celebrate cultural intelligence, poise, and heritage among young African women. By moving past conventional pageantry, the event focuses heavily on addressing the erosion of indigenous traditions through language, traditional attire, and talent displays. 

Coker’s victory underscores Aletheia University's commitment to cultivating both academic competence and cultural excellence within its student body. Her regional recognition places the institution’s Department of Mass Communication in the spotlight for fostering versatile talent.
